The Buckingham Agility™ saddle was designed in conjunction with Jamie Chambrelli, and the team at ArborMaster® Training Inc. Jamie is a lead instructor with ArborMaster®, Connecticut Licensed Arborist and production tree climber.

During development, we looked at feedback around the industry including proper fit, adjustment slippage, mobility of suspension systems, proper support at legs and back, lower hardware options and other attachment options throughout the suspension, and a plethora of other issues with saddles around the industry. The handmade in the USA Agility™ saddle was designed and built for “Work” with a focus on comfort, durability, mobility, and functionality.

“The Buckingham Agility is designed for “Work”. From the

moment you put it on you can feel it’s made to support you, and

all the equipment needed for whatever your day of tree work

throws at you. From carrying a “big saw” for big wood removal,

to intense pruning scenarios, the Agility goes on stays put and

delivers. With the most flexibility and greatest number of work

positioning options anywhere on the market, yet super stable

stiff construction and a truly unique free motion suspension.”

Description

Key Features:

  • New Specially designed back pad for maximized support while working.
    • It provides more support and prevents lower back injuries by preventing lower spine and surrounding muscles to be stressed by poor posture when climbing and pushing limbs aloft.
    • The specialized shape allows for maximized coverage without getting into your ribs and supports your back in problem areas, where a lot of climber back injuries occur.

  • Industry-first specially designed Leg Pad/Suspension system.
    • One of the biggest problems we noticed with other saddles on the market are problems with proper support and fit in the leg pads which is key to promote optimal comfort and ideal weight distribution.
    • Articulating legs pads and straps that are engineered to give you maximized mobility.
    • The Leg pads move completely independent from the upper suspension allowing for more mobility in your waist and legs.
    • Leg strap and suspension were designed to allow your leg pads to articulate separate from upper suspension to maintain pad support and fit and give you maximum mobility.
    • Cradled by 2 separate straps allowing for better circulation and support.
    • Black leg straps allow you to form the pad and lower suspension angle to properly fit and support your upper thigh area.
    • Leg straps backed with hook and loop, so adjustments stay in place. (Black leg straps are only meant to be used/undone when you are making fit adjustments)
      • **Center leg strap (Green) is your donning strap, Outer leg straps (Black) are for adjusting contour of leg pads for proper fit/suspension.
  • Industry-first Segmented Rope Bridge/Suspension bridge.
    • Sewn pockets to give you an assortment of rated connection points for various climbing techniques allowing you to put yourself in the best possible position.
    • Bridge length adjustments- sewn pockets allow you to adjust the length of the bridge by simply placing a carabiner in the desired pocket location. Great for spar work and spur climbing when you need to be closer to the tree.
    • Bridge length adjustment locks in place and will not move when doing spar work or other work that may cause an adjustment to slip. Designs using prusik knots have the potential of releasing and may cause potential hazard especially if you are working with a hand saw.
    • Aluminum rings give you a full-floating option, pockets give you stationary attachment options.

  • Hook & Loop “stay put” waist and leg straps for easy one-time adjustment for a proper fit that will not come out of adjustment.
    • Limits the need to re-adjust your saddle every time you put it on or having a sagging effect when you attach your chainsaw and other heavy equipment to your saddle.

  • New lower rigging plate hardware features: options for a multi-bridge setup, forward lower D-Ring setup, and easy length adjustments of the rope bridge.

  • Full-size aluminum work positioning D-rings: making it easier to connect lanyard and other positioning devices.

  • Various spots at for placement of chainsaw carriers: and other hardware, pockets sewn with optimal width for placing whatever carrier you prefer.

  • Newly designed gear loops that are easier to reach and to place hardware on.
  • Pads made with durable fabric to prevent premature wear.
  • Four spots for tool hangers and various loops for racking smaller gear like ascenders.

  • Small accessory D-Rings for easily adding suspenders and giving you more accessible hardware storage options.
  • Handmade in the USA.
