The flipline connection strap is an inexpensive alternative to a locking twist clevis for proper orientation of your mechanical adjustment style microcender. Girth hitch to the ascender and connect to dee ring using a self closing, positive locking carabiner.

Description
Straps add approximately 4″ (10.2 cm) to the work positioning system. Strap can be cut as a last resort to perform an aerial rescue if used with a wire core flipline. When using a wire core flipline, you must have the ability to cut an incapacitated person down!
